18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
Life is challenging, and often we make it even more difficult for ourselves. This is the reality of the human experience. We tend to make mistakes and then shift the blame to others, rather than taking responsibility. And even when we do acknowledge our faults, we can be excessively hard on ourselves. Alternatively, we may cite other challenges we've faced, using them as a reason for leniency or justification of our thoughts and actions. This is no way to live if our goal is to grow, be whole, or be at peace with ourselves and others. The fact is, we can’t do it on our own because we are inherently flawed.
Consider this: If you think you can handle everything by yourself, reflect on how well that has worked out for you. Do you feel complete? Are you at peace? If not, there is a way to achieve it. While we can't solve your problems, we can guide you toward Someone who can. Will you take that step?
